FARRIER INSTRUCTOR – Competition Number 17-16
The Faculty of Trades & Technology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently seeking Non-Regular Type 1 (contract) Farrier instructors to provide short-term delivery of Foundation Farrier training, which may extend from a single day to several weeks.
Qualifications include a credential from the American Farrier Association (AFA) as a certified journeyman Farrier and a minimum eight (8) years current industry experience. Also required is the knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with students. Preference will be given to those applicants with a demonstrated record of teaching successfully, current field experience and two (2) years supervisory experience. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Outlook.
